202 Records LLC is an independent record label based in Washington, DC, with a mission to support and promote Go-Go Music and emerging artists across the Washington DC Metropolitan area on a global scale. Our journey began with a simple but powerful vision: to create a platform where local talent could reach global audiences.

Go-Go: Official Music of Washington DC
In 2020, the District of Columbia officially designated Go-Go as the official music of Washington, DC. The District is proud of its native Go-Go Music and the talented local musicians who have created our city's distinct musical sound that transcends geographical and demographic boundaries.
D.C. Law 23-71 enacted on April 11th, 2020 was a major milestone for our city. 202 Records declares and commits to the creation, development, preservation, and promotion of Go-Go music worldwide.
